Robert Half International
conviction
Robert Half places accounting, finance and technology professionals, and the feared collapse in demand has not appeared, with revenue down only about 2% and placements growing again for a third straight quarter. The real pressure is on profit margins, where earnings per share fell by more than a third.
What we judge
The view on expected return from here, 0 to 100.
Whether the thesis could succeed without this company at all. This moves slowly, and only when the company's position genuinely changes.

Why it is in the fund
Thesis
Staffing and temp agencies face existential pressure as agentic AI replaces knowledge workers.
Standing judgment
A specialty staffing and consulting firm supplies people to end clients, not infrastructure to agents, and is a bystander to whether the backbone thesis plays out. The disruption is not showing up in the numbers the way the bear thesis predicted: Q2 revenue was $1.336B, down only 2% reported, with Talent Solutions posting a third consecutive quarter of sequential growth and permanent placement up 2.5% adjusted. What is real is margin pressure, with EPS collapsing to $0.26 from $0.41, and the stock at $40.82 is just 3.4% off its 52-week high after a 29% five-day run, so the cyclical recovery is largely priced.
What changed, and why
Every move in this number carries the reason it moved. A score does not change without new evidence.
